Weebly Website

Websites are a great way to present parents with students work and activities. Teachers could use the website as a virtual classroom and include newsletters of the weekly happenings as well as home work or notices. A website could save paper and ensure that parents always receive any notes that often get lost within the students school bags. As long as the teacher is smart about the content within the website, it could be an extremely successful and valuable tool that should support the learning of the students.

This is a link to my weebly website. I aim to fill it with resources and information that will help me though out my teaching career.
After reading the discussion that Elly has had with Bridget, I agree with their feelings about Wiki vs Weebly. When I created my wiki space, I felt daunted and overwhelmed by the site whereas when I created my Weebly site I felt excited about the prospect of using it to enhance my future career. The layout is so easy to understand compared to the wiki space and I think it will be more beneficial for me in the future. The only downside is that others cannot edit the page or add their own resources like they can on wiki.
